Madiha receives Director of Education and Human development in the Middle East and North Africa
Her Excellency Dr.Madiha bent Ahmed Al Shibaniyah Minister of Education received in her office Murad Al Zain Director of Education and Human Development in Middle East and North Africa in the World Bank.
At the beginning of the meeting Her Excellency provided a brief explanation of education evolution in the Sultanate and the work done to improve the level of students achievement.
During the meeting they talked about the directives of his Majesty Sultan Qaboos ben Said to establish a national centre for educational evaluation and examination and increase the budget of professional development of teachers and related jobs in educations for more than three times in order to improve performance in schools.
