Directorate General of Education in South Al Sharqyiah Governorate, represented by Educational Programs Department, celebrated the graduation of the first batch of mental integration students in the mental integration programs, which were 15 graduates. Under the patronage of Dr. Salameh Bint Khamis Al Mashrafiah, Dean of Collage of Applied Sciences in Sur, in presence of Hamoud Al Hadrami, Assistant Director General of Educational Evaluation, Educational programs and private schools. Wafa Al Fanah, Head of Special Education Section, mentioned that the section consists of four programs: learning difficulties, audio integration program, mental integration program and speech program. She added that mental integration program includes (17) classes in the governorate and 110 students. The section offers training for teachers through the programs of professional development and other training programs in addition to studying the special needs of students of these programs. The ceremony included welcoming tableau by students of Al Jawabi School, a silent play by students of Al Wafi Basic Education School and a presentation showing the experience of integration student. At the end, the patron honored the graduate students. It is worth mention that the celebration included an exhibition which including students’ works.
