MoE organizes certificates awarding ceremony for students of French and German Subjects

Under patronage of HE Dr. Mona Bint Salem Al-Jardaniyah, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Manpower for Technical Education and Training, MoE represented by the Directorate General for Curriculum Development, held certificates awarding ceremony for the students of French and German subjects, in the presence of HE Mustafa bin Ali bin Abdul Latif, Undersecretary for Administrative Affairs, general managers, directors of departments in the ministry, teachers and parents in Scouts band theatre.
The ceremony began with welcoming speech delivered by students in both French and German. Asma Al bulushi, Assistant General Director of Directorate General for Curriculum Development, delivered the ministry speech, where she mentioned that the ministry decided to apply these subjects as elective subjects for grades (11 and 12) started from the academic year (2012 and 2013) in 9 schools. The teaching of German language implemented in five schools, three schools in Muscat Governorate and two schools in South Batinah Governorate and the teaching of French in four schools in Muscat and North Batinah. She concluded her speech by mentioning that the ministry is offering Delf exam for French language and Fit in Deutsch 1) for German language.
After that, a group of students presented a play in French and a song in German. In the end, the patron honored students who passed the international exams of French and German subjects and teachers.
