MoE organizes Senior Supervisors Forum HRD-70

The Ministry of Education (MoE) represented by the Directorate General for Human Resources Development, Educational Supervision Department, organized the Forum of Senior Supervisors in the Directorates General of Education in the governorates (HRD-70) which lasted for three days. The opening began with a speech of the Directorate General for Human Resources Development, delivered by Dr. Aflah Al-Kindi, Director of Educational Supervision Department, in which he encouraged the supervisors to change and develop in the various supervisory practices. He mentioned that this forum would be a tribute to the supervisory initiatives, emphasize the role of the educational supervisor and develop supervisors’ competencies and efficiency. Two sessions were held in which a number of working papers were presented. In the first session, Sheikh Khalid Al-Sunaidi, Head of Vision 2040, presented a paper entitled "Education in Vision 2040". Also, another working paper entitled "The Fourth Industrial Revolution and its Impact on Education" presented by Omar Bin Saeed Al-Abri, Senior Information Technology Supervisor, Aisha Al Sulaimi, principal of Um Al Fadal Basic Education School (5-12) in the Directorate General of Education in Al Daklyiah. Khadija Bint Ahmed Al Balochia, General Supervisor of the Second Sector presented a working paper entitled “implemented an enrichment program TOSS”. In the second session Dr. Rashid Al Mehrazi, Head of Psychology Department in Sultan Qaboos University, presented a working paper “Evaluation of Practical Skills”. The second paper entitled “Performance report of teaching faculty and the jobs associated with it” presented by Deyaab bin Rashid Al Muzaini, Head of Administrative Development Section and Saeed Al Hashemi, Head of Bonuses and Promotions Section. At the end, Dr. Aflah Al Kindi, Director of Educational Supervision Department in the Directorate General for Human Resource Development in the Ministry honored the presenters of the working papers. It is worth mention that the forum targeted (150) of senior supervisors and supervisors of Directorates General of Education in the various Governorates, employees of Educational Supervision Department in the ministry cabinet in all sections ( Islamic studies, Arabic, English, Social Studies, Mathematics, IT, music skills, life skills, fine art and school sport).
