Under the patronage of Sulaiman Al Salmi, the Director General of Education Directorate in Al Dhakhilyah Governorate, the HR Development Department, represented by the Applied Science Section organized the second forum of the IT teachers at the Training Center and Career Development in Nizwa. The forum aimed to increase the knowledge quantity, activate information content and highlight the role of the IT teachers at the governorate through career sessions and training workshops. The forum also targeted more than 200 teachers and students. Moreover, the forum included 17 work papers presented by a number of researchers, educators and specialists at modern technology, Internet and artificial intelligence. Also, it contained various activities and programs relating to the IT subject. The event began with the recitation of Holy Quran and then, Omar Al Abri, the Senior Supervisor delivered the speech of the Directorate where he stressed on the importance of the event in providing teachers with fourth industrial revolution issues and its educational reflections among students. After that, the attendance watched a film by Science and Technology Center at Al Dhakhilyah Directorate and Dr.Khamis Al Salami from Olympiad and Innovation Department gave a presentation about Stem. In addition, Talaal Al Asmi, the Director of Information Security at the Ministry of Education presented a paper that focusing on Challenges that face information security. In addition, Dr. Kalifah Al Azri, An educational Researcher will present a work paper of Nanotechnology and Khali Al Tamimi, the Director of IT Department in Al Dhakhilyah Directorate for Health Services will deliver a paper about internet applications at medical sector today.
