The Directorate General of Education in Al Dhakhiliyah Governorate, represented by the Students Care and Awareness Section at Education Programs Department held a celebration of social work day as participating with other countries to reflect the importance of social care among individuals and institutions. The ceremony presided over by Nasser Al Khiayri, the Assistant Director General for Education Planning and HR Development and IT in Manah with presence of Rasmiyah Al Abri, the Assistant Director for Education Programs at the Directorate and others.      

The celebration began with welcoming song by students of Saih Al Shamikhaat School and then Suliyah Al Saifi delivered a speech of social specialists where she clarified the role of social specialists in guiding school students, solving problems that face students and the role of social specialists in the surrounding local society. Then, the students of Um Haani Basic Education School presented a play, which titled Social Specialists, which talked about the tasks of social specialists at surrounding society. At the end, the patron of celebration honored the outstanding social specialists and sponsors.                                                      

It is worth mentioning that this event comes with worldwide celebrations that mark 19 March every year and the theme for 2019 is Promoting the Importance of Human Relationships.
