The local committee members of Sultan Qaboos Award for Sustainable Development in Directorate General of Education in Dhofar continued their visits to number of schools in Salalah to present the award’s objectives and contents. Khalid bin Ahmed Bait Rashid, Head of Public Relations and Educational Media and member in the local committee, met administrators of Mohammed bin Al Qasim Al Thaqqafi Basic Education School for boys and Al Qarth Basic Education School (1-4) where he discussed the award’s vision, mission, tasks, responsibilities of the school committee and procedures for nomination. During the visit, it was also confirmed that the award document, announcements and correspondence were received and complete the directory of projects participating in the award and the extent of awareness at the school and community level.
