The Ministry of Education (MoE) participated in activities of IT, Telecom and Technology Show "COMEX 2019" organized by OITE (Oman International Trade and Exhibitions), under the patronage of the Information Technology Authority. The exhibition held under the theme ‘Digitalising the Future’, the three-day event is scheduled to run from March 17 to March 19 in Oman Convention and Exhibition Center. MoE represented by Directorate General of IT participated in E-Oman and Innovations pavilions. During the exhibition, MoE showed services of Oman educational portal and launched BKI System that is a system to access the educational portal systems through visitor’s civil card, sending text message to get the user name, the normal way through the user#s name and password for each visitor. It is worth mentioning that innovation pavilion included participation of Muscat students who participated by number of projects and scientific innovations in the field of educational technology and robot programming. It also included a workshop for learning physics, mathematics and robot programming provided by a number of school students, using two Lego Robot bags.
