Hilal Al Siyaabi, the Omani Engineering presided over the honoring ceremony of a number of schools, students, supervisors and local committee members with the presence of Dr.Khadeejah Al Blushi, the Assistant Director General for Education Programs and Education Evaluation and Private Schools and others in the Hall of Grand Sultan Qaboos Mosque. Salah Al Zidjaali, the Director of Education Evaluation Department delivered a speech where he welcomed the attendees and the sponsor of occasion. He said that the Ministry of Education keened to keep up with technology development and changes, therefore the launch of National week for science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) in its first version to adding educational dimension and focusing on science concepts. In addition, Aseel Al Habsiah from Al Waljah Basic Education School gave speech of participating students and said that the Ministry of Education provided positive education environment for students and encourage them for innovation to motivate the Sultanate#s role in sustainable development at local and global level. After that, the patron of occasion honored the schools, teachers, and supervisors for their participation in the national week of science, technology engineering and mathematics (STEM) and the attendance went on a tour around the scientific expo and watched various innovations.
