Under the patronage of Dr.Mohammed Al Majaali,the Dean of Al Buraimi University College with presence of Ali Al Jabri,the Director General of Education Directorate for Education Programs ,the fourth industrial revolution symposium kicked off in Al Buraimi University College. The event was as a part of the event of National Week of Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM). Al Majaali delivered a speech where he pointed out that technology changes, discoveries forced us to develop and renew the education system to keep up with modern age requirements and labor market needs in future. He also added that a number of participants and experts from outside the government took part in the symposium in order to exchange their experiences in science field. In addition, the symposium included two sessions. The first session presented by Dr.Majid Al Ruqaishi where he discussed the roles of Nanotechnology in the fourth industrial revolution. Also, he reviewed various issues such as the definition of nanotechnology, its foundations, the Sultanate# efforts in this field and privacy in technology. Moreover, Dr.Khalid Al Syabi, talked about the attitudes that will led the future and Dr.Mohammed Al Kaabi discussed the impact of technology on people future through smart cities, how to locate famous areas and Google. During the national week, a number of robot competitions held Such as in Somo, and balls challenge between various schools in the government and which included rules of robot examination.
