Dhofar Directorate Celebrates Delivering Medical earphones to Students with Hearing Disabilities

Directorate General of Education in Dhofar held a ceremony to deliver the medical earphones to students with hearing disabilities, a cochlear implants and hearing weakness.It took place at the Directorate Theater in Al Saada. Also, It funded by Raysut for Cement Company and costed 42 thousand Omani Rials .In addition, the celebration was under the patronage of the Advisor, Abdullah Aal Ibrahim, Acting Deputy of Dhofar Governor, with presence of Dr.Al Waleed bin Saeed Al Hinai,the Director General of Education in Dhofar Governorate and others.
The celebration began with the Holy Quran recitation by the student, Bandar bin Salim from Anas bin Malik Basic Education School and explained by the student, Haitham Al Amri using sign language. Then, Dr.Fatma Al Ghassaniyah, the Director of Education Programs delivered the speech of the Directorate where she pointed out that providing educational service to hearing disabilities students is their right to gain important care from the Ministry of Education to build their home country. She also added that the Ministry provided qualified teachers to teach them in order to provide students with academic skills by supplying hearing aids and devices. She thanked Raysut Company for their contribution and the Directorate General of Health for facilitation of necessary hearing examinations. Then, the attendees watched a clarification film of hearing aids presented by Safa Abd Al Jaleel,the Section Head of Education.
At the end, the patron of the celebration delivered the medical devices to the 58-targeted students and honored the supervision committees and contributing entities. Then, he paid avisit to the scientific Robot and Innovation Centre, which followed the Directorate General of Education at Dhofar Governorate.
