Under the patronage of Sheikh Al Fadhal bin Mohammed bin Ahmed Al Harthy, Secretary General of the Council of Ministers, the Ministry of Education (MoE) launched the national program " Values and Responsibility Shape our Identity " with presence of HE.Dr.Madiha Al Shibaaniyah, the Minster of Education and others. The event took place in Al Bustan Palace (Oman) Theater. Moreover, the inauguration ceremony included the Ministry#s speech by Sulaiman Al Harrassi, the Minster#s Adviser for Studies and Researches where he said that the Omani society was ancient, genuine, and included positive values and traditional customs that was obvious in their behaviors, therefore, the Minsters Council adopted the national program (Values and Responsibility Shape our Identity# ) which aimed to instill the citizenship values among students , preserve their identity and cultural history and provide them with values that establish their characters and positive attitudes. Also, AL Harrassi added that program included ten important fields: good behavioral practices, increasing the awareness of cultural heritage, boosting the belonging to home country and establishing common implantation plans that achieve the vision of national program. In addition, the Advisor of Minster for Studies and Researches mentioned that the Ministry of Education looking forward to enhance positive values, instill the citizenship among students, and provide them with theoretical and practical knowledge .Also. The launching ceremony traditional dance and song such as Al Tooymeenah ,Al Nadyah ,Al Baraah and Al Azi. After that, the patron of celebration inaugurated the logo of national program and its website.
