Ministry of Education represented by National Career Guidance Center (NCGC) in cooperation with Public Authority for Craft Industry implemented the second edition of training program in field of Pottery and Porcelain Industry, which is host by Pottery and Porcelain Training and Production Center. The program targeted twenty students from Bahla and will last for three weeks. The program included a lecture about the origin of pottery, Omani ceramics and information on the types and characteristics of the clay. In addition, the students attended a lecture about drawing under the paint, how to use transparent paint after painting, different types of paint and paint preparation methods. About the program the trainer Salim Al Hanai, mentioned that he was honored to train a number of students the art of pottery. The students were keen to attend and learn the skills and experience in the field of pottery and painting.
