Thamrah kicks off in the Sultanate#s Governorates
The training program (Thamrah) kicks off at various educational governorates (Al Dhakhiliyah,Al Batinah North, Al Batinah South, Al Sharqiyah North, Al Shariqyah South, Al Dhaihirah and Dhofar) today morning and for a week. The program also considers as important program to train students of class (8-10) on skills that related to projects of agricultural, animal and fishery nature. The Ministry of Education, represented by the National Center for Career Guidance and Ministry of Agriculture and Fisheries to provide facilities in order to enhance the national economy by helping students to establish students companies in schools.
Moreover, Fakhriyah Al Meslamiyah, the Head of Team said that Thamrah Program aimed to introduce students with jobs opportunities at agriculture, animal and fishery sectors, provide them with skills related to investment in agriculture, animal and fishery field and supply them with appropriate incubator for students companies, which related to agriculture, animal and fishery fields. Also, she added that the training program included two stages, the first stage (theoretical training) that focuses in introducing students with jobs and investment opportunities provided by agriculture, animal and fishery sectors, fish farming, poultry farming, hives and vegetable and fruit growing. Whereas, the second stage includes (practical training) such as establishing agriculture, animal and fishery projects.
It is worth mentioning that the number of participating students is 207 and more than the previous year, which reached to 132 students.
