NCGC implements career programs for students

The National Careers Guidance Centre (NCGC) keens to provide number of programs and activities for students during the mid-term vacation. Dr Nasser Al Khanbosi, Assistant Director General in NCGC mentioned that this program is within the framework of the efforts of MoE to implement national strategy for education 2040. He said also “to achieve the developmental and economic orientations of the country students shall be prepared for work and life, acquiring the necessary skills and instilling positive attitudes towards work and that comes with partners and supporters of the educational process.” The center is implementing three programs in number of educational directorate. The first program is the second edition of Jahiz program, which is cooperation between NCGC and Sohar Collage of Applied Sciences that targeted students of grades 9 to 11 in al Dhaklyiah. The second program in the second edition of thamra program that is cooperation between NCGC and Ministry of Agriculture and Fisheries and implemented in Dhofar, sharqyiah north and south, Batina north and south. The third program is herfaty program that is cooperation between NCGC and Public Authority for Craft Industry implemented in Dhaklyiah and Batina.
