Al Buraimi Directorate General of Education organized a meeting with the coordinators of Shell road safety award at the government and private schools in Al Buraimi.It chaired by Moza Al badiyah, the Chief of Local Committee for Shell Road Safety Award with presence of Ahmed Al Azaani, the Municipal Council member in Al Buraimi,Ahmed Al Haraasi, the Assistant Director for Education Programs and the previous Head of Local Committee of Award and others .Moreover, the meeting included a speech of the local committee for the award and discussed various issues such as the winning outstanding schools for the academic year 2017/2018 like Mahzah Basic Education School, Omar bin Al Khataab Private School and Al Buraimi Basic Education School.  
I t is worth mentioning that last year, the award was more organized in its structure and evaluation axes representing the electronic transformation of the award from registration stage and through follow up, supervision and implementation to reach the evaluation stage. Also, the award witnessed conducting traffic school project that based on sustainable development principle and group work by a partnership between school and society. In addition, some schools in Al Buraimi Governorate achieved good results in central evaluation in the Sultanate level such as Omar bin Al Khataab School won the second place at the Sultanate level and Muhadah won the award of traffic school project and thus the two previous shall be nominated for suitability award.
