Supervisory Committee of Omani Teacher Education Excellence Award Visits Al Batinah South

The supervisory committee of Omani teacher for educational excellence paid an official visit to Al Batinah South governorate. It organized an introductory meeting with the collaboration of the Directorate General of Education at Al Batinah South Directorate. The committee chaired by Dr.Saeed Al Amri,the Adviser of the Minster of Education for education Media with presence of Hamed Al Rashdi, the Director General of Education Directorate in Al Batinah South Governorate and a number of educators at the governorate .Moreover, the meeting included two work papers presented by Najah Al Habsi, Educational Researcher at the Ministry of Education and Faisal Al Busaidi, the Assistant Head of IT Directorate .Najah Al Habsiah clarified the concept of the award and its objectives at educational process. In addition, she said that the award is national educational award that given to Omani teachers every two academic years in order to highlight the teachers excreted efforts, to encourage the outstanding teachers and develop their career efficiency. She also identified the general conditions of the award#s presenters and how the award to implement in various stages. At the end of her work paper, she added that the award winners are 10000 O.M.R for the first place, 7000.O.M.R for the second place and 5000.O.M.R for the third place.
After that,Faisal Al Busaidi talked about the electronic system of award, referring to the registration mechanism and how to build this system in terms of attachment of documents in the system and the sorting stages that will be in the award. He also referred to the date of opening the system for candidacy, which is 1 January 2019, and Evaluation and announcement standards of results and recognition at the end of the award. At the end of meeting, they allowed discussion.
