The Supervisory Committee of the Omani Teacher Educational Excellence Award held an introductory meeting in the presence of Sulaiman bin Abdullah Al-Salami, Director General of the Directorate General of Education in Al-Dakhliyah, assistants of the Director General, Departments’ Directors, Supervisors and senior teachers of various educational majors. At the beginning of the meeting, Najah Bint Salem Al Habesia, Educational Researcher at the Office of HE Undersecretary of the Ministry of Education for Education and Curriculum, presented a detailed explanation of the award. She mentioned that the award is a national educational award that gives every two years to outstanding Omani teachers to highlight their efforts in the field of education and encourage them to improve the educational learning process. She also mentioned the terms and conditions of participation and the criteria and stages of the evaluation. Faisal bin Nasser Al Busaidi, Assistant of Director General of the General Directorate of IT for Digital Services and Systems and member of the Supervisory Committee, presented the electronic system of the award, the registration system and the evaluation stages that begin with automatic sorting of teachers who meet the conditions of participation. He also showed the second stage of the evaluation, which is to fill in the form and attach the required documents. At the end, they allow discussions.
