The tennis table championship for schools concluded at Al Dhakhilyah governorate. It organized by the school sport committee at the Directorate General of Education in Al Dhakhiyah governorate, targeted 23 schools, and took place in the sport complex in Nizwa. Moreover, the championship witnessed a strong competition among students to reach the first places and showed a number of promising talents in the table tennis. Also,Ammar Al Fahdi, won Humood Al Siyabi in the final match2/3.In addition, Mohammed Al Kindi,the Coordinator at School Sport Committee stressed the importance of tennis table and he said that it played a role in developing mental and motor abilities and enhanced the honest competition between the students. Abdullah Al Kindi, Sport Activity Specialist said that the tournament aimed to discover the players# abilities and their talents in order choose the governorate#s team which would represent the governorate in the competition at the Sultanate#s level and which took place in the Sultan Qaboos Sport Complex by the next December. At the end of competition, Masod Al Tobi, the Manager of Finance Affairs in Al Dhakhiyah governorate distributed prizes for the winners of the three advanced places with presence of Mohammed Al Kindi, the Secretary of School Sport Committee and a number of school sport committee#s members.
