Private Schools Launch the Second Edition of Innovation Competition in Social Studies for Private Schools 2018/2019
The Ministry of Education, represented by the Department of Social Studies at the General Directorate of Private Schools, launched the second edition of the Innovation Competition in Social Studies for Private Schools 2018/2019.
The competition aims to highlight the students’ creations in social studies, encourage them to work in a scientific environment outside the classroom, improve their scientific skills, increase communication and collaboration in different schools, allow them to learn different models of scientific innovations and provide them with the skills of scientific research.
The competition targets students from grades 5 to 12 and requires participation in only one of the two categories, the first for the students in grades 5-8 and the second for the students in grades 9-12. It is also possible to participate individually or collectively, the number of participants in the group do not exceeded more than two students and the innovation should be produced by the student himself and not participated before.
