Educational portal wins Corporate and Media Communication Excellence Award
Ministry of Education represented by Oman Educational Portal won Middle East Corporate and Media Communication Excellence Award which was organized by Middle East Excellence Award Institution (Datamatix). The conference and award ceremony was held at Burj Al Arab in Dubai.
Ministry of Education participated in the conference by presenting a paper about Oman Educational Portal and the impact of using new media tools in awareness campaign strategy in order to spread the culture of using electronic services.
Oman Educational Portal has a package of new communication tools which had deep impact in achieving this award such as newsletter, social networks, SMS, Educational Forum, email and correspondence system which allow staff to enter their personal profiles and see their correspondence from anywhere in the world.
