Ministry of Education celebrated yesterday Omani Women’s Day with patronage of Sayyida Sana bint Hamad Al Busaidi, Advisor to the Minister of Education, and with the presence of the ministry’s female employees. The ceremony began with a welcoming speech by Renad Bint Saleh Al Balochia, a student from Ibn Khaldun Private School. Two poems were delivered by Yazid bin Abdullah Al Balushi, a student from Muhammad Bin Sheikhan School and Mia bint Ammar Al-Rahbiya. In addition, the musical band of the Directorate General of Education in Muscat (led by Roa’a Al Lamki) presented musical pieces on Women#s Day. At the end, the patron of the occasion toured the exhibition accompanying the ceremony.
