Ash Sharqiyah South Directorate Organizes Lecture of Traffic Awareness and its Importance

Directorate General of Education in Ash Sharqiyah South organizes today the lecture entitled “Traffic Awareness and its Importance” with cooperation with Directorate of Traffic in Sur.
The lecture held at the theater of Ahmed bin Majid Basic Education School. The event attended by Rashid bin Abdullah Al Ghailani, Assistant Director of Financial Affairs for Transport and Warehouses Department, First sergeant Major Khalid bin Ali bin Mohammed Al Balushi from the Traffic Directorate in Sur and the staff of Students Transport Section in the Directorate.
The event targets School buses owners, parents and students. First Lieutenant Eng.Saeed Al Gatami from Directorate of Traffic in Sur, lectures on traffic safety, traffic regulations, traffic awareness and its importance, the new traffic regulations, as well as providing statistics on the number of deaths and injuries in general in the Sultanate and the bad effects that result when using the mobile phone while driving the vehicle.
At the end, they allowed the audience to ask questions and discuss.
