Under the patronage of Sulaiman Al Salmi,the Director General of Education Directorate in Al Dhakhikyah governorate ,the Directorate held the celebration of honoring 182 of outstanding teachers, students and schools in the knowledge development program in the entertainment center at Minah. The celebration began with the recitation of the Holy Quran by Mohammed Al Bareidi, a student in Hay Al Turath School. Then, Tharaa Al Sulaimani, the student from Nizwa Basic Education School delivered the outstanding students speech where she thanked those who encouraged and helped them to develop their talents in the knowledge development program in Math, Science materials and Geography concepts for students. Also, she added that the program instilled the love of exploration and exerting efforts to achieve the required objectives and benefited from the experiences of other countries in technical and scientific fields via international and regional forums and meetings. The audience watched a film of the knowledge development events and a live show of Somo robot. . At the end, the patron of celebration honored the outstanding teachers, students and schools in oral competition, robot, Artificial intelligence and students# innovations. Bid Bid Basic Education School and Mohammed bin Jaffer Basic Education School came in the 1st place at science oral competition and Nizwa Basic Education School, Um Aymen Basic Education and Jawaher Al Adab Basic Education won the 2nd place at science oral competition. Also,Marfa Dares Basic Education school won the 1st place in Math oral competition and Al Mamoorah Basic Education school came at the 2nd place. In addition, the patron horned Safa Al Harrsiah for her representation of the Sultanate in Arab Math Olympiad.
