. The Directorate General of Education at Dhofar Governorate completed the administrative and technical preparations of new academic year 2018/2019 by forming committees, determining needs, preparing supervision plans and mechanisms of implementing educational programs that serve students and educators, standing upon projects, which related to new schools and conducting maintenance for some schooling buildings and teachers housing. Dr.Shaikh Al Waleed Al Hinai,the Director General of Education Directorate in Dhofar governorate pointed out that the Directorate organized visits in the beginning of academic year to follow up the readiness of curriculum semester plan distribution in accordance with issued guidelines releases and check the school books availability and its guides. Also, he added that the recruitments and transfer committee of faculty members and related jobs finished the external and internal transfer of faculty members and related jobs for the academic year 2018/2019.Al Hinai also said that the Directorate finished the reception plan of new ( 200) teachers and students. In addition, Dr.Al Waleed added that Directorate followed up all the programs of reception the first grade students and their first day program, follow up the supply companies for school canteens at the governorate schools, and emphasize the cleanliness and safety of drinking water. Moreover, training plays important role in developing any institution, therefore the Directorate General of Education at Dhofar Governorate prepared a number of important educational programs and workshops to develop the administrative and teachers# skills. At the end, the Director General emphasized on the necessity that families must follow up their sons and daughters and participate in the education meetings, which implemented by the Directorate and schools. He also, advised the educators to exert more efforts to develop and innovate in the schools and work in a teamwork to raise up the school achievements of students.
