Human Resources Development Department represented by Applied Science Section organizes the training program for science and math series curricula of Cambridge for grades 5-6 in the Training Center in the Directorate which will last to 7 June 2018. Science and math supervisors who were trained in the Ministry in Muscat will present the program. The training program included number of work sheets included the philosophy of the new curriculum, its features, review (student book, activity book and teacher#s guide, skills, learning strategies, problem solving, teaching inquiry, day-to-day lesson planning and practical application of lessons in the fifth and sixth grades of both subjects. The program targets 663 teachers of government and private schools. It aims to introduce the science and math series projects implemented by the ministry for the next academic year 2018/2019 and to improve the teaching of science and math subjects.
