The Private Schools Department at the Directorate General of Education in Al Dhakhiliyah governorate organized private schools forum in the Career Development and Training Center in Nizwa. It included a number of training programs, workshops and entertainment competitions.The forum aimed to activate the role technology in education process, to raise the school achievements standards and provide the students with skills and knowledge of how to use technology. In addition, the forum included various work papers, which reflected the importance of modern technology use in the educational field such as Learning Design in 21st Century and the Comprehensive Building of Child Character through Life Skills Programs presented by Dr.Ab Al Sataar Al Amri from Life Skills Corporation in Barhain that discussed the emotional intelligence, security, information technology, learning design at 21st century, life learning and the elite thinking skills. Moreover, the exhibition of educational services and school supplies opened during the forum# event and contained several corners. The educational services corners of laboratory equipment#s, learning resources, school health and school furniture. It also included a corner of books, curricula and educational resources and the corner teaching visual aids and electronic devices. The educational applied workshops for students focused on electronic programming and robot. In addition, the competition of theatrical performances that included diverse shows and children competitions.
