MOE Implements an Introductory Meeting about Tamam Project

MoE represented by the Technical Office for Studies and Development implemented on Tuesday an introductory meeting about Tamam Project (a project that combines research with development) Which comes under the guidance of HE the Minister of Education as an introductory meeting for private schools, Special Education Schools and all concerned and specialists in this aspect in the ministry. The program included the ministry speech delivered by Dr Suad Alfori, Director of the Technical Office for Studies and Development, were she mentioned that the Sultanate started the project in 2011in three schools in Muscat. In 2016 they expand and added two schools in Muscat and two in Al Dhaklyiah so that seven schools join the project now. Dr Abdullah Ambu Saidi, Consultant and Project Trainer from SQU, mentioned that Tamam is a project that combines research with development to bring about and support school-based initiatives for sustainable school improvement. It aims to build a home-grown theoretical understanding of effective and sustainable school reform that improves students’ learning and is grounded in evidence and in the cultural context of the Arab region. At the end, Hail Al Aowamir school in Muscat and Al Ithar School in Al Dhaklyiah presented their experience in implementing Tamam Project.
