The theatrical days for the academic year 2017/2018 started in Al Buraimi Directorate for one week and Taleb Al Blushi, presided over the jury. Also, the event aimed to find some sort of competition among the governorate schools, provide them with require skills in directing theatrical show, exchange experiences and spread the communication between students from various schools at the governorate. In addition, the shows began with (Al Majnoonah) Play by Hafsah bint Serein Basic Education School (5-9) and was under the patronage of Moza Al Badi, the Director of IT Department. The play talks about the domination of sorcery on the minds of people as a way to heal many diseases, including madness, which is not convinced by many people, as the play deals with the problem of endogamous which inherited diseases and the dialogue revolves around convincing a young people that madness disease cannot be cured by sorcery But the parents convince him to marry the mad girl, and the result is the birth of children who are mad. The second show by Malik bin Anas Basic Education School (1-12) titled (Alf Mabrook) and patronized by Dr.Sultan Al Yahyaae, the Assistant Director where it discusses the topic of genetic diseases and their impact on the individual and society resulting from the lack of interest of young people to the necessity of conducting medical tests on marriage or neglect and raising awareness of the importance of the community to conduct medical examinations before marriage, whether marriage of relatives or non-relatives.
