Minister of Education Receives Members of Tamam Project Team

HE Dr Madeeha bint Ahmed Alshaibani, Minister of Education, receives in her office Dr Reema Karami and Daina Ali from American University in Beirut, members of Tamam Project “development based on school” with presence of project’s Trainers, School Performance Evaluation Office and Technical Studies and Development Office in the Ministry.
The guided team presented an overview of Tamam’s project and the impact of the project on building a sustainable development culture in schools that contribute in improving school performance. It is worth mention that the ministry started implementation of this project in 2011 and being pursued in a systematic manner in cooperation with the project supervisors and consultants in the Sultanate from SQU.
The number of school teams participated in the beginning of the project were three schools in Muscat only and was expanded in 2016 to be seven schools.
The Ministry is currently conducting an evaluation study of the project to determine its advantages and the most important challenges to achieve a clear vision of the project and its development mechanism.
