Ministry of Education, represented by the Technical Office for Studies and Development in cooperation with the Telecommunications Regulatory Authority represented by the Unit of International Relations and Consumer Affairs, is conducting a workshop "The National Awareness Campaign for Children on the Safe Use of Communication and will last for three days, with participation of 70 participants at Muscat Hall of the Telecommunications Regulatory Authority. Furthermore, the workshop presented by Saleh Al Husseini, an Educational Expert at the Technical Office for Studies and Development, Talal Al Assami, Director of the Information Security Department, Ministry of Education, Mona Baloushi, Specialist at Specialist at TRA, the workshop includes a number of topics, such as introduction about safe use of communication and technical, medical, legal and educational aspects. In addition, the workshop targets different categories of educational staff (administrators, supervisors, teachers, specialists), students and parents in all governorates of the Sultanate, and it aims to spreading awareness about the optimal use of communication tools and services, protection from the dangers of modern communications devices and social networking sites, and the undesirable sites in the Internet.
