Under the patronage of HE.Dr.Humood Al Harthi, the MoE Undersecretary and in presence of a number of officials of the Ministry of Education, parents, educators and students, the National Committee for Youth and in cooperation with the Ministry of Education horned the Directorate General of Education in Al Sharqiyah North Governorate that came in the first and third places in the Sultanate level at the national reading competition 2018.The honoring ceremony held place in International Book Fair . More than 270 teams from various areas at governorates in the Sultanate. Moreover, AL Muhana bin Jaifar Basic Education School came in the first place and Al Sahbaa Bint Rabeah Basic Education School came in the second place. Also, the third place won by Lamees Bint Amro Basic Education School and Abo Zar Al Ghafari came in the fourth place. In addition, many educators expressed their happiness of winning in the competition. Ahmed Al Habsi,the Head of Al Muhana bin Jaifer pointed out that national reading competition was a useful initiative from the National Committee for Youth and aimed to develop the students abilities and provide them with quick reading skills .Also, Badriyah Al Rawahi,the principal of Lamees Basic Education School thanked those who contributed to the success of the competition and the students.
