MoE Honors the Outstanding Students in Knowledge Development Program

Ministry of Education honored outstanding students, teachers, schools and educational directorates in knowledge development program under patronage of HE Mohammed bin Salim Al Tobi, Minister of Environment and Climate Affairs, and with presence of HE Dr Madeeha bint Ahmed Al Shaibani, Minister of Education. The ceremony started with a speech delivered by HE Saud bin Salim Al Bulushi, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Education for Educational Planning and Human Resources Development, a documentary film entitled (we innovate for Oman), outstanding students’ speech and presentation entitled (the student dream). HE Minister of Environment and Climate Affairs honored 248 outstanding students, 103 teachers, 54 schools and 3 educational directorates. It is worth mentioning that the knowledge development program for students was implemented in the academic year 2007/2008, to develop students’ skills in science, mathematics and environmental geography through oral competition, written tests and scientific projects implemented by students. The program was developed to include scientific innovation, robot and researches of Globe environmental program.
