Minster of Education Receives in Her Office Lena Khalil

Cooperation between Oman and UNICEF was reviewed on Sunday when Dr. Madiha bint Ahmed Al Shaibaniyah Minister of Education received in her office Lena Khalil, UNICEF representative in the Sultanate. At the beginning of meeting, Dr,Madiha welcomed the guest and highlighted the achievements of the Sultanate’s education in recent years, as well as the efforts and areas of care rendered to children, especially those provided by the Ministry of Education in the field of early childhood and children with disabilities The meeting reviewed areas of cooperation between the Ministry and UNICEF and focused more on the areas of future partnership between the two sides in the fields of early childhood and children with disabilities, with the importance of focusing on the governorates of the Sultanate in relation to early childhood projects. The meeting was attended by Mohammed bin Abdullah Al Far’ei, Head of the Minister’s Office and Shunoona bint Salim Al Habsiyah, Educational Expert at the Office of the Education Undersecretary and Member of the Executive Committee for the Cooperation Programme between the Sultanate’s Government and UNICEF.
