The local committee for the competition for hygiene in the school environment conducted an educational meeting with the school security and safety supervisors in the governorate schools in the presence of a number of specialists from the General Authority for Civil Defense and Ambulance, where the meeting held at Educational Training and Professional Development Center in Nizwa. After that, Ashraf bin Yahya al-Hinai, head of the local committee for the competition, delivered a speech which he pointed out that the aim of the meeting is to introduce the school#s security and safety supervisors on how to deal with the fire in case of outbreak, also the importance of implementing the process of eviction in schools twice during the school year to train our students in practice methods of prevention of fire hazards. Furthermore, Captain Khalid bin Abdullah Al Rabakhi, Head of Operations and Training Department of the Civil Defense and Ambulance delivered a lecture on the procedures which followed in implementing the evacuation plan in schools and the importance of verifying the validity of fire extinguishers in schools and their compatibility with security and safety. While the rest of Committee members follow up the files of security and safety in Governorate schools and correct some points which required to achieve the objectives and content of the competition.
