Dr.Madiha Al Shibani, the Minster of Education patronized the celebration of the 2nd edition of development and training forum 2017 yesterday morning and in presence of Undersecretaries, Advisers and Directors Generals for three days in Crown Plaza in Muscat. She also opened the exhibition and went in tours around its corners. It included nine corners, which represent the programs that the Specialized Centre for Professional Training of Teachers such as sciences experts, math experts, English experts, Arabic experts, supervision experts, school leadership and new appointed Omani teachers. Moreover, the forum targeted education researchers, trainers from various specialties and trainees from different educational governorates. It aimed to view the experience of the Specialized Centre for Professional Training of Techers in training teachers filed, benefit from the researches results, exchange the educational and scientific experiences at education and training filed, discuss learning and education issues and spread the development culture and the continues career development. The opening ceremony started with the Holy Quran recitation and after that Mrs Amal Al Busaidi, presented the speech of the Specialized Centre for Professional Training of Teachers where she said that the center was opened in 2014 and established to enable the trainers to develop their career efforts through a number of strategic training programs that the center presented to various educational categories such as teachers, senior teachers, school principals and others. She also added that the idea of the center came to fulfill the needs of educational sectors within various education fields, strengthen the teachers place in the society and benefit from the results of researches to train teachers. Also, the opening ceremony included visual presentation for the important achievements of Specialized Centre and a trainee experience in the supervision experts program which presented by Ahmed Al Manwari. It is also to be mentioning that the forum will review two main axes for two days in 21 Simultaneous sessions and a number of training workshops. The 1st axe inludes the learning and education at 21st century with 24 work papers and the 2nd one focuses on the modern training strategies and techniques.
