The Directorate General of Education in Governorate of Muscat organized the training program entitled “Educational Bag”, which lasted for seven days, and it aims to developing the academic skills of teaching literacy. The program was under the patronage of Raja bint Saif Al Busaidiah, Head of Continuing Education Department in Muscat Directorate, which presented the first worksheet in this program. Also, the same program was held in the Training Center the Educational Supervision Office, where the number of trainees about 50 trainees. Furthermore, the program included some papers related to the psychological characteristics of elderly people and the successful classroom management in literacy classes for the first and second grade teachers. In Addition, identify the needs of the elderly student, how to deal with this age group and appropriate methods of teaching. At the end of the program, certificates of participation were handed over to trainees
