The Directorate General of Education in Dhofar Governorate organized Oman Science Festival 2017, which will start on Tuesday in Sultan Qaboos Youth Complex in Salalah for two days including several events such as competitions, education-training programs, and artificial intelligence and scientific experiments shows.   

DR. Shaikh,Al Waleed Al Hinai, the Director General of Education Directorate in Dhofar, the General Supervisor of the festival, stated  that the festival will  witness  great  celebration including a Directorate speech ,participations, visual shows and honoring individuals  and cooperative  entities. He also added that the scientific exhibition will open later and a number of Dhofar schools participate in the exhibition by robot shows and private schools outstanding activities. Moreover, Nafath Renewable Energy Company will present training program and the Applied Science College will participate with visual show of electronic programs such as Brainstorming and Program Yourself. In addition, Dr.Al Waleed Al Hinai said that the launch of festival in its 1^st edition is considered as implementation of the Ministry of Education#s directives to attracting attention towards the importance of science as an essential element to enhance economic and development value for education outcomes.
