Science and Mathematics New Curricular Training Program Kicks off in Al Dhahira

The Directorate General of Education at Al Dhahira Governorate conducted training program of science and mathematics new curricular as part of Cambridge global chains for (1-4) classes which implemented by the Ministry of Education for the educational governorates in the Sultanate.Also,the Ministry formed a team of second field supervisors and trainers assistants from the Development Career and Training Center to train the second field teachers for four consecutive weeks.The training program targeted various schools such as Al Sileef Basic Education School ,Al Magzee Basic Education School ,Manaber Al Noor Basic Education School and Shumoo Al Maarefah Basic Education School. Moreover ,the program aimed to present a high a quality training program in the 21 centaury school via survey ,introduce the Cambridge new curricular of science and math and their comparisons and provide advices and guidance to the trainees in order to prepare them to train the other teachers in the Sultanate. Also, during the program, many work papers discussed such as the 21-century skills, education individualization, Formative Calendar, exploring the new science and mathematics curricular and planning lessons.
