Directorate of South Al Batinah Conducts a Training Program of "Advanced Techniques in the Design and Program Robot"

The Department of Human Resources Development at the General Directorate of Education in South Al Batinah Governorate represented by the Department of Applied Sciences IT Unit implement the Training Program for “Design and Program the Educational Robot”. The program implemented by specialists from the Engineering Village Foundation led by Engineer Abdulrahman Al-Hajji. The program will continue for 5 days during the period 25/9/2017 until 1/10/2017, and it targeted 50 trainees of IT teachers in the governorate within the framework of professional development plan 2017. Furthermore, through the program the trainees will learn about the basics of electronics and the most important pieces to build the mechanical structures in the allocated bags for such project. In addition, the participants are also trained to program robots to perform specific tasks or for the purpose for which the robot is designed and quickly control robot and sensors, remote operation and other skills required for the programming process. At the end, Mr. Ali bin Mohammed Al Adawi, the first supervisor of IT in South Al Batinah Governorate, explained that this training comes with the Ministry of education’s interest in the subject of robot in the IT curriculum for grades 7 &8.
