H.E.Dr.Madiha Al Shibaniah, the Minister of Education approved the results of the re-sit diploma education exams for the academic year 2016/2017.The results will be declared on Wednesday, September 27, 2017 at three O#clock p.m. and the results will be available by sending SMS with the seat number to 90200 (Omantel and Ooredoo).The results will be also available on Oman Education Portal. As part of the ministry#s efforts to regulate examinations, the Ministry of Education recoded 40 violations and a number of sanctions been taken according to the Ministerial Decision No 588/2015, which associated with the general diploma examinations.Also, the Ministry of Education detected one cheating case and it will investigate the case and take legal procedures for those who cheated. In addition, the Ministry of Education invited the teachers, students, parents and the society individuals to adopt the transparency and objectivity culture to cooperate with them in such situations to have food generations, capable to build the country. Also, the violations cases included using mobiles in the examinations center and violations of rules and regulations in the examinations centers. It is also to be mentioning that the Penalties for the violations include depriving form the examinations results of the subject and canceling the exams results .Also, the Ministry will take administration procedures for observers who violate the system according to the Civil Service Ministry law. Moreover, the students who do not achieve the success can re-enroll for the current academy 2017/2018 if they want according to the provided legislations.
