Oman Scouts Participate in the 41st World Scout Conference in Azerbaijan

Omani delegation scouts and guides participated in the opening ceremony of the 41st World Scout Conference which held in Baku, the Capital City of Azerbaijan. The conference kicked off yesterday with participation of 155 country at the world. It started with a presentation that clarified the report of the world scout committee for the last three years and delivered Jaw Armando, the Chief of World Scout Committee where he talked about they faced and how did they overcome them successfully and Ahmed Al Hindaiy ,the Secretary General of Arab Scout Organization Head in his discussed the global scout organization and its future plans to support youth. Also, Jakli Kiko the previous president of Tanzania delivered a speech where he stressed on renewing hope for a better future and the attendees discussed various topics such as voting mechanism at scout occasions election, nominating new members for the world scout committee. During the conference, the Palestinian Scout and Guides Association was handed over the recognition certificate and complete membership at World Scout Organization and H.E Maali Jibreel, the Palestinian Head of Supreme Council for Youth and Sport received them. It is also to be noted that the Omani delegation consisted of Mohamed Al Hinai,the Director of Scout Department ,Omar Al Atbi, International Relations Specialist and Nasse Al Hinali, the SQU Scouting Supervisor.
