As part of the Sultanate#s celebrations of the blessed Renaissance Day, they kicks off the activities of summer scout camp, which held form 22-27 of July under the slogan (Scouting and Youth Participation), and work of the first Gulf Scout Forum which implemented by Directorate General of Oman Scouts and Guides in cooperation with the General Secretariat of the GCC States. The ceremony was sponsored by Sheikh Dr. Alwaleed bin Saeed Al Hinai, Director General of Directorate General of Education in Dhofar Governorate and in presence of Laila Bint Ahmed Al Najjar, Director General of Scouts and Guides and a number of officials in Dhofar Governorate. After that, the ceremony started with Enter the participants# parade and raising the flags of the Sultanate and General Secretariat of the GCC States, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Scouts and Guides of Oman. In addition, Commander Mohammed bin Abdullah Al Hinai, Director of Scout Department, delivered the speech of the General Directorate of Scouts and Guides, and he welcoming the participants from the Sultanate of Oman, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait and Egypt. Furthermore, he mentioned that the comp includes a number of scouting programs, training sessions and dialogue, also includes community, volunteerism, environment and tourism programs, and we wishing everyone to spend beautiful and wonderful times.
