The Ministry of Education announced the details of summer programs, which targeted school students 2017 in terms of the students# numbers, summer centers numbers and included pragmas. The summer program will kick off on Sunday, 3rd of July, to the 10th of August for two weeks. Also, the logo will be (My Protective and Preventative   Summer).        

Moreover, Salim Al Bahri, the Adviser´s Minster of Education for Society Relations and the Main Committee Chief of Summer Program Management said that the program was important and played an essential role in sharpening the student#s skills and investing their innovative powers. In addition, he added that the summer program is a continuation of Ministry efforts in presenting its educational message and enhancing the society roles. He also, emphasized that the summer program aimed to make students proud of their country and leader, build a positive character and affirm the importance of values in students# life. In addition, Fatihiah Al Sadiy, the Assistant Director General of IT and Vice Head of the Main Committee of Summer Program mentioned that the program targeted to implant values cooperation and self-esteem among students and use their free time in practicing various activities and developing experiences. Also,she added that number of summer centers was 46 center distributed in different governorates and willyates.           

It is also to be noted that the summer program of this year targeted the students who finished (6-11) classes despite their ages, school levels interests and governorates circumstances.
