The Directorate General of Education at Muscat Governorate held a meeting to discuss the preparation of summer centers, which would start by the beginning of the next month and lasted for two weeks. It chaired by Huda Al Zidjali, the Head of Educational Programs and Local Committee of the Summer Program, in presence of Mubarak Al Maashri, the Assistant Director for the Education Programs and Deputy of the Committee#s Chief and others.    

During the meeting, the attendances discussed various issues such as  the mechanisms of students enrollment ,to  provide  the centers with tools and equipment and the quality of presented programs within the summer to include diverse programs from scientific, cultural and sport fields, taking into consideration the  students desires and tendencies , focusing on the popular heritage, promoting the citizenship values preserving the environment and encouraging research, exploration ,innovation and self-development.

           It is also to be noted that the directorate specified 6 centers in Muscat Governorate and they are Abo Ayoob Al Hadrami Center, South Al Mabeallah Center at A seeb, Al Hareth Center at Amerat , Manbaa Al Imaan Center in Bausher ,Zainab Bint Abi Sufiyan and Sultan bin Mohammed at Quryat .
