MOE Organizes Literary Competition for Private Schools Students

The 3rd Literary competition for private school’s students continues today which organized by Directorate General of Private Schools, Educational Supervision Department in MOE. The competition aims to Encouraging talnted students in various fields of literary production, developing language performance, enriching students# cultural outcome, providing opportunities for students to highlight their talents, and encouraging students to care about their creativity and development.

The competition began on Tuesday morning in Injaz Private School(Bawsher). First cycle students of grades 1 to 4 and second cycle students of grades 5 to 6 participate in children’s Literature, while students of grades 7 to12 participate in the field of narrative writing and poetry. In the field of poetry, they will compete through the quality of poetic work required, vertical poem, free poetry and prose poem. The second part is the poetry field, which targets students from grades 9 to 12, and they will pass two internal levels at the school level in which students compete in the school itself. At the end of the competition, four contestants enter the general contest in which final competitions take place between the participating schools. The first day of the competition resulted the victory of four schools that will enter the second round: Wattayh School (Alamerat), Injaz Scool, Alfarabi School and Ibdaa International School).
