Together Against Cyber Blackmail Kicks Off in Al Wosta

Under the patronage of the Deputy Wali of Haima ,Shaikh Ahmed AlDarae, in presence of Dr. Salim Al Mashaani, the Director General of Education in Al Wosta Directorate ,Schools Heads, IT Security Specialist, schools students and a number of educational, military and government officials, the Ministry of Education, represented by the IT Security Department and in cooperation with the IT Section of Al Wosta Directorate and ROP implemented the national campaign titled(Together Against Cyber Blackmail)in Haima Basic Education School .
In addition, the event included a film about the campaign by the IT Security Department and various work papers. Also, Talal Al Asmi, the Assistant Director at Information Security of Ministry of Education presented a work paper about Cyber Black mail in Education Process where he talked about how to deal with the social media networks in privacy and how we protect ourselves from cyber blackmail .Mohammed Al Amri, the Investigation Head in ROP of Al Wosta Directorate Presented another worksheet titled(The Role of ROP against Cyber Blackmail).He defined the concept of the cyber blackmail ,clarified the cybercrimes types and its methods and how people can protect themselves from the cyber blackmail. Moreover, Al Amri, launched (Wae) application for smart phones which inaugurated by the IT Section at Al Wosta Directorate within the national campaign for cyber blackmail event.
At the end, the patron of the occasion and the Director General of Education in Al Wosta Directorate honored the participants
