Al Buraimi Directorate Celebrates World Social Work Day

Directorate General of Education in Al Buraimi Governorate, represented by represented by Educational Outreach and Student Welfare Section in Department of Educational Programs celebrated the world social work day which marks on 21 of March every year. The celebration was under the patronage of HE Sheikh Saleh bin Thiab Al Rubai, Governor of Al Buraimi, and in presences of HE Abdullah Al Dhahri, Advisor to the Minister of Education in Al Buraimi Governorate, Dr. Mohammed Al Majali, Dean of Al Buraimi University College, Department Directors and their assistants, heads of departments, school’s managers, social and psychologists Specialists.
After that, Khalifa Al Kaabi, head of department of educational awareness and student welfare delivered the directorate speech and he said that social service aimed to serving people and system works to solve the problems of individuals and group and develop their abilities reach the level of life and achieve the social adjustment. Also, Aisha Al Alawia, social specialist at Um Ther Al GHaffari School, talked in speech of social specialist and explained the role of specialists in overcoming obstacles and solving problems.
At the end of ceremony, the sponsor of the ceremony honored Al Buraimi University College for their support and active in ceremony and honored the social and psychological specialists at schools for their contributors in ceremony success.
