Dhofar Directorate Conducts a Training Program in School Sports

Directorate General of Education in Dhofar Governorate, represented by Department of Individual skills conducted a training program entitled “enriching practical and cognitive skills in school sport”, which targeted 25 sport teachers in governorate schools.
The program held in Sport Complex and it aimed to raise the level of performance of sports teachers in use of practical and cognitive skills through theoretical and practical training in skills of collective games and final written examination for academic year 2016/2017.
Moreover, the program carried out by a group of supervisors and teachers, and it included a number of axes, such as practical and theoretical skills in handball, basketball and volleyball. Also, included axis of evaluation document, feeding athletes, first aid and building of achievement tests.
