Scout and Guide Competition Evaluation Committee Visits Muscat Schools

The evaluation committee for scouts and guides competition started its tasks by visiting a number of Muscat schools such as Al Gadeer Basic Education School (1-4) in Quryat for cubs and brownies categories ,Um Al Hakam School for Guides category and Faisal bin Turki School in Mattrah for advanced scout category. In Quryat, H.E.Yahyah Al Harrsi, the Wali of Quryat , Dr.Khadeejah Al Balushi ,the Assistant General Director for Education Programs and Evaluation and Mubarak Al Batashi ,the Education Supervision Office#s Head at Quryat received and accompanied the evaluation company in visiting schools in Quryat. Also,the evaluation committee was chaired by Laila A; Najaar, the Advisor to the Minster of Education for Education Programs a membership s of Ibtisam Al Amri, the Assistant General Manager foe Guides and the Leader Yaqoob Al Miqbaali, the Society Development and Service #Head Section and others.
Moreover, the committee met the schools administration stuff and the scout and guides leaders to view their units and activities and the extent activation of scout and guides competition on greatest scout cup. Also, the committee watched the scouting camps, the scientific and practical tasks of teams, projects, folders and scouting cries and skills.
Abdulllah Al Muaini, the Assistant Director for Educational Programs for Continuous and Special Education, the Head of Regional Committee clarified that Muscat Governorate prepared for scout and guide competition well since the beginning of the academic year in following the activation of its aspects and clauses , educational meetings with scouting and guiding leaders. Also, he mentioned that this competition aimed to deepen the loyalty to homeland and the Sultan, develop the volunteering work and show the leadership and dependence skills among students.
